PGT-RECLAIMED is the original designer and maker of 100% reclaimed solid Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood furniture. With its factory in SouthVietnam employing more than 700 workers, the company exports its premium furniture to more than 18 countries including some of the world’s largest retail chains. While the global company is based outside Ho Chi Minh City, PGT-RECLAIMED (Australia), a distribution company for the brand is based in Runaway Bay, Gold Coast. Both companies are owned by founder, Ian Burden and his wife and company brand manager Yung Burden. Originally, Elevate was appointed by PGTRECLAIMED (Australia) to manage the distribution company’s third birthday event in August 2016. Since, Elevate has been enlisted to manage the Australian brand’s events, along with both the Australian and international brand’s communication activity.

Elevate’s involvement with PGT has included:

Event Management:

• Management of venue requirements for two events on the Gold Coast
• Negotiated and briefed suppliers including high profile MC, entertainment and stylists
• Developed event materials including runsheet, budget, speech notes, floor plans and invitations
• Liaised with key stakeholders for relevant permits and approvals for public fireworks display
• Oversaw production of promotional materials such as lectern signage
• Creation of PowerPoint presentation, digital imagery and novelty cheques
• Promoted media opportunities surrounding events

• Being on-hand to support ad-hoc content needs for both the global and Australian company
