EVERYTHING MUST SELL AT UNRESERVED AUCTION IN GLADSTONE

Hundreds of Central Queensland farmers, tradies and small businessmen are set to descend on Hassalls’ Gladstone auction yard, which will host it’s last ever, unreserved on-site auction from 10am on Wednesday 16 November.

The sale is made up of more than 400 lots featuring a range of Toyota Hilux’s, Nissan Navaras and Ford Rangers, Isuzu NPR 300 single and dual cab trucks, generators ranging from 600 to 6,000 kVA’s, more than 75 shipping containers and over 100 Knaack toolboxes.

Hassalls General Manager Steve Wall said every piece of equipment must sell on the day regardless of the price paid as the site has to be cleared and empty by the end of November.

“From toolboxes and trucks to power generators and miscellaneous scrap, everyone who comes down is bound to score a great value deal on quality second-hand equipment,” Mr Wall said.

“The vendor has instructed us to sell everything on the day regardless of the price!”

Online bidding is available to those who want to join the sale but can’t make it down in person, a feature which has proven very popular among Hassalls’ sales in Central Queensland.

“At our last Gracemere on-site auction, almost 40 per cent of the available lots sold to our online patrons,” Mr Wall said.

“Trucks and larger equipment are typically the focus for online bidders, who are looking to expand their business or upgrade their existing fleet.”

For those who can’t make it on the day live webcast bidding is available. Buyers will need to visit Hassalls’ website here prior to the sale to register.

The auction will run from 10am on Wednesday 16 November, 22 South Trees Drive, South Trees, Gladstone QLD. To view a map click here.
