BULLDOZERS TO LOCK BOXES IN NEBO - HASSALLS END OF YEAR BONANZA AUCTION

RESOURCE auctioneers Hassalls is preparing for a bumper end of year clearance and asset realisation sale of equipment from a series of Thiess mining sites in Nebo on Wednesday morning, 9 December.

Plant and machinery ranging from rear dump trucks and generators to dozers and air compressors, Hassalls said the auction would see high quality resource and civil equipment, spare parts and inventory go for very competitive prices.

“If you’re in the market for a grader, excavator, front end loader or a dozer, then you’ll be well served making an online or onsite appearance at this auction that we’re holding on behalf of Thiess,” Hassalls General Manager, Steve Wall, said.

Mr Wall said the broader range of equipment was diverse and would attract businesses and individuals from mining and agricultural sectors, construction and tradespeople. LED lights, storage cabinets, grinders and jump start packs were all on sale.

“This kind of sale suits a range of buyers. We’re expecting a strong mix coming from the national and international resource sectors, the construction industry and even some,” he said.

Mr Wall said Hassalls was expecting several hundred people to attend the auction both online and onsite.

“These auctions only happen once in a while and they are a big day out for regional communities. We have engaged a very worthy cause in SAM, Suicide Awareness Mackay,” he said.

“These guys do a every important job in the region and we are privileged to have them on board.”

The Nebo auction is a milestone in the relationship between Hassalls and Thiess and marks the beginning of a partnership that will see a range of sales take place throughout Australia in 2016.

The auction will take place from 10am, 9 December at NQ Group Heavy Haulage & Cranes, Lot 59 Peak Downs Hwy Nebo.

Inspections will take place between 8am and 4pm on Tuesday 8 December and Wednesday 9 December between 8am and 10am.
