Overview & Key Outcomes

Elevate was engaged to provide a full PR, Communication and Digital strategy to drive publicity in the lead up to National Meals on Wheels Day on 31 August 2016. The campaign was a huge success, with widespread coverage that recognised and celebrated the hardworking volunteers from Meals on Wheels services throughout Queensland.

Queensland Meals on Wheels’ PR, Communication and Digital campaign included:

  • Developing a PR and Communication strategy to ensure all activities are aligned to the business’ goals and objectives
  • Identifying story opportunities and drafting media releases from national and local angles
  • Liaising with local and national media contacts
  • Liaising with Meals on Wheels services throughout Queensland to encourage volunteers to partake in numerous brand building activities
  • Coordinating interview and photo opportunities
  • Creating, scheduling and monitoring engaging social media content
  • Attending National Meals on Wheels Day celebrations at local Meals on Wheels services
  • Internal communication to engage stakeholders leading up to National Meals on Wheels Day
  • PR and communication reports to highlight achievements and upcoming activity

  • 50+ positive media clips achieved
  • Total Equivalent Advertising Value: $175,000
  • Total audience reach: 770,000
  • National industry publications, online news, radio, TV, local newspaper articles
