HASSALLS TO HOST MEGA AUCTION IN DALBY

HASSALLS TO HOST MEGA AUCTION IN DALBY

With more than 630 lots of quality equipment to go under the hammer, Hassalls will host its next mega auction in Dalby from 10am this Wednesday 22 February.

The auction will see a range of second-hand equipment sell for a fraction of the new price, including Komatsu HD785-5 rear dump trucks, Toyota Landcruisers, Hilux’s and Prados, Terex Franna AT-14 cranes, Volvo Prime Movers, Honda quad bikes, household furniture, whitegoods, shipping containers and a range of miscellaneous workshop equipment.

Hassalls Australasian Key Account Director Steven Wainhouse said he’s expecting around 250 hundred buyers to turn up on the day, with another 150 set to join via online webcast.

“Dalby is known for it’s strong agriculture industry, so we’re expecting to see most of our construction and vehicle lots sell to locals in the region looking to replace their well-worn gear,” Mr Wainhouse said.

“Farmers are sure to be interested in the more than 30 Toyota Landcruisers, Hilux’s and Prados, Nissan Patrols, Mitsubishi Tritons and Ford Rangers we’ve got on offer, as well as quad bikes, water tanks, flat deck trailers, and even a set of pasture harrows.

“Stone slabs, timber, hand tools, fencing, roofing, guttering and a range of generators are expected to sell fast to local tradies and construction companies looking to pick up great value building materials.”

For those who can’t make it in person, Hassalls’ online bidding is available – an alternative which has drawn substantial interest over recent sales.

“Our live online webcast has proven popular, in some cases accounting for upwards of 30 per cent of all lot sales,” Mr Wainhouse said.

“We see a lot of interstate buyers online looking to beef up their fleets with heavy earthmoving equipment or pick up well-priced storage containers.”

The auction will run from 10am on Wednesday 22 February, 329 Hoffman Street, Dalby QLD.
