Leading Australasian resource and valuation experts Hassalls is offering assets worth more than $6 million for immediate sale in New Zealand.
Hassalls is inviting sensible offers via an online tender for a fleet of tier 1 construction equipment.
Originally from New Zealand himself, Hassalls Brisbane-based General Manager Steve Wall, said he is delighted to bring a large sale to New Zealand.
“Previously we’ve only been based in Australia, but with this haul of equipment available exclusively in New Zealand, we jumped at the chance to bring our services across the Tasman,” Mr Wall said.
“In a recent sale we held in Queensland, tens of millions of dollars worth of equipment went under the hammer and was a huge hit with the local community. We expect sales in New Zealand to bring a lot of interest on a majority of the assets with others more likely to be sold back into Western Australia.
“The equipment is all 2010 built and presents very well, which should ensure we have quick sales.”
The construction equipment includes large trucks, excavators and wheel loaders and is on sale immediately on behalf of a leading New Zealand Bank and is all located in Christchurch (see attached flyer for more details).
“All the gear has been checked, is in excellent condition, and is ready to be driven out the door,” Mr Wall said.
The online process allows interest from local businesses and farmers through to international buyers seeking to fit out mining projects.
“With enough interest we will be able to continue bringing sales to New Zealand, both online and on-site, with great value products,” Mr Wall said.
The smorgasbord of construction equipment includes a rare 2010 Cat 834H Wheel Dozer with low hours as well as Cat 336DL & 345DL Excavators; 8 x Cat 740 Artic Trucks; a 2010 Cat 980H Wheel Loader; 4 x 2010 Haulmax 3900D Off Highway Haul Trucks, and 5 x Cat 777F Rigid Dump Trucks.
