It may be the Year of the Rabbit, but for Brisbane’s leading full-service marketing and communication agency, Elevate Communication, 2023 is proving to be the year of new client wins.
During the first quarter of this year industry champion Mel Deacon and her team have been successfully pitching its nationally recognised expertise to some of the Australia’s biggest players.
“We’ve also welcomed Construction New Holland, Medcan Australia, Case Construction, Baxe, Burmon Building Products, Little Stars Kids, TriCare, Granddad Jack’s Craft Distillery, and STAR Community Services into our client stable, one that has seen incredible growth since I established the business just over 15 years ago,” Mrs Deacon said.
With more than 20 marketing, media and corporate communication professionals leading the charge and years of experience to draw on, Elevate’s new clients are in very good hands, Mrs Deacon added.
In other exciting news Elevate has welcomed Lee McLean to the team. She joins as General Manager, bringing with her a wealth of industry experience.
“The team is very excited to have Lee join us at Elevate. She is a respected member of the industry in Brisbane and will provide great support to our already strong team,” Mrs Deacon added.
Lee’s start with Elevate comes just weeks after Corporate Communications Director Josh Stengert was named in B&T’s official 30 Under 30 list for 2023. He was one of three industry professionals recognised in his category – PR.
Meanwhile, Elevate’s Head of Marketing Shannan Peters and her team have been busy delivering pro bono marketing strategies for Youthrive – a social enterprise that is all about improving the lives of as many kids and young people as possible – and Australian children’s charity, Act for Kids.
“Act for Kids engaged with the team at Elevate to help us develop a digital strategy as we continue to grow a digital footprint,” said Amanda Williams, Act for Kids Executive Director of Fundraising.
“We value their digital, marketing, and public relations expertise to provide insights for our team along with their commitment to providing professional guidance.”
“Elevate is full-service marketing communication agency that aims to provide value to our clients, they trust us for our expertise, and we work tirelessly to deliver results above and beyond expectations,” Mrs Deacon noted.
“From a growth standpoint, we are always on the lookout for new practitioners to come and work with our team that was shortlisted for the Australian Financial Review Best Places to Work awards last year.”
In addition to steering Elevate toward 2032, Mrs Deacon has once again been elected by her industry peers to head up the Queensland division of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) as President this year.
“It’s such a privilege to be elected state president for a third year – PRIA is such a valuable industry body for public relations and communication professionals nationwide.”
Last year, Elevate’s Madeline Jones was awarded the national Student of the Year at the PRIA Golden Target Awards, while Senior Communication Manager Micayla Pretorius claimed Bronze in the Emerging Leader of the Year category.
